# List possible completions

`GET /api/search/autocomplete`

## Request

- Base URL: `/exist/apps/tei-publisher` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/exist/apps/tei-publisher/api/search/autocomplete`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in cookie `teipublisher.com.login`
  - HTTP basic

Return a list of possible completions for the given search term

## Query parameters

- `query` string, required
- `field` string

## Response `200`

List of possible completions

  - `value` string
