# Bulk update metadata

`POST /api/organizations/{organizationId}/data/bulk-metadata`

Bulk update the metadata of many data items in one go. This requires you to submit a CSV file with headers, one of which the columns should be named 'name'. The other columns are used as metadata keys.

OK

- StartJobResponse
  - `success` boolean, required: Whether the operation succeeded
  - `error` string: Optional error description (set if 'success' was false)
  - `id` integer, required: Job identifier. Status updates will include this identifier.
