# Add HMAC key

`POST /api/{projectId}/hmackeys`

Add an HMAC key. If you set `developmentKey` to `true` this flag will be removed from the current development HMAC key.

## Path parameters

- `projectId` integer, required

## Request body

- AddHmacKeyRequest
  - `name` string, required: Description of the key
  - `hmacKey` string, required: HMAC key.
  - `isDevelopmentKey` boolean, required: Whether this key should be used as a development key.

## Response `200`

OK

  - `success` boolean, required: Whether the operation succeeded
  - `error` string: Optional error description (set if 'success' was false)
  - `id` integer, required: Unique identifier of the created entity.
