# Delete a Session

`DELETE /v1/session/{session_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.edgegap.com`
- URL: `https://api.edgegap.com/v1/session/{session_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `authorization`

Delete a session. Once deleted, a session is no more accessible and does not have a history. The deployment associated will not be deleted.

## Response `200`

Success

- SessionDelete
  - `message` string, required: A message depending of the request termination
  - `session_id` string, required: The Unique Identifier of the Session
  - `custom_id` string: Custom ID if Available

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Not Found
- `410`: Instance Already terminated
- `500`: Internal Server Error
