# Create a Fleet

`POST /v1/fleet`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.edgegap.com`
- URL: `https://api.edgegap.com/v1/fleet`
- Auth: API key in header `authorization`

Create a fleet. A fleet is a top-level object; you must create child resources to work properly.

## Request body

- FleetPostPayload
  - `name` string, required: Name of the Fleet
  - `enabled` boolean: If the Fleet is enabled. Defaults to false.

## Response `200`

Success

- FleetPostResponse
  - `name` string, required: Name of the Fleet
  - `enabled` boolean: If the Fleet is enabled. Defaults to false.
  - `create_time` string: UTC time of fleet creation
  - `last_updated` string: UTC time of fleet last update

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `500`: Internal Server Error
