# Get Collection

`GET /v3/universal-ai/collections/{collection_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.edenai.run`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Get one of the user's collections. Free, gateway-side only, and — like
the other gateway resource reads — not registered in the request history.

## Path parameters

- `collection_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- CollectionResponse: A collection owned by the authenticated user.
  - `collection_id` string, uuid, required: Client-facing collection id; use it in item operations and in /v3/universal-ai calls that take a collection_id input.
  - `model` string, required: 'feature/subfeature/provider' string the collection is bound to.
  - `name` string, nullable: Collection name, if any.

- `422`: Validation Error
