# Get a specific transaction

`GET /shopwired-payments/transactions/{transaction_id}`

Retrieves detailed information about a specific transaction.

## Path parameters

- `transaction_id` string, required

## Query parameters

- `fields` string

## Response `200`

The transaction details.

- TransactionDetails: Detailed transaction information.
  - `id` string: Unique identifier for the transaction.
  - `createdAt` string, date-time: Timestamp when the transaction was created.
  - `amount` integer: Transaction amount in minor currency units (e.g. pence).
  - `currency` string: Three-letter ISO currency code.
  - `orderId` string, nullable: Associated order ID, if available.
  - `paymentType` string: Type of payment used.
  - `description` string: Transaction description.
  - `statementDescriptor` string: Text that appears on the customer’s bank statement.
  - `feeAmount` integer: Total fee amount in minor currency units.
  - `refundedAmount` integer: Total refunded amount in minor currency units.
  - `fraudulent` boolean: Indicates whether the transaction was flagged as fraudulent.
  - `riskLevel` string: Risk assessment level.
  - `customer` object: Customer details for the transaction.
    - `name` string
    - `phoneNumber` string
    - `emailAddress` string
    - `address` object
      - `line1` string
      - `line2` string
      - `city` string
      - `state` string
      - `postalCode` string
      - `country` string
  - `card` object: Card details used for the transaction, if applicable.
    - `country` string

    - `expirationYear` integer
    - `cvcCheckResult` string
    - `postalCodeCheckResult` string
    - `threeDSecureResult` string
    - `walletType` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request parameters.
- `401`: Unauthorized. Invalid or missing API key.
- `404`: Transaction not found.
- `500`: Server error.
