# Get a specific dispute

`GET /shopwired-payments/disputes/{dispute_id}`

## Request

Retrieves a single dispute by ID.

## Path parameters

- `dispute_id` string, required

## Query parameters

- `fields` string

## Response `200`

The dispute details.

- Dispute
  - `id` string: Unique identifier for the dispute.
  - `createdAt` string, date-time: Timestamp when the dispute was created.
  - `currency` string: Currency of the disputed transaction.
  - `amount` number, float: Total disputed amount.
  - `feeAmount` number, float: Fee amount charged for the dispute.
  - `orderId` integer: The associated order ID.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request parameters.
- `401`: Unauthorized. Invalid or missing API key.
- `404`: Dispute not found.
- `500`: Server error.
