# Update product prices

`POST /products/prices`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ecommerceapi.uk/v1`

- Auth: HTTP basic

Updates the price and/or sale price for a specified SKU or multiple SKUs (up to 15).

## Request body

- PriceUpdate
  - `sku` string: The SKU code for the product or product variation. Required when using 'price' or 'salePrice' alone. Should not be used with 'items'.
  - `price` number, float: The base price of the product.
  - `salePrice` number, float: The sale price of the product.
  - `sendToEbay` boolean: When true, the price update will also trigger an eBay listing revision (if the product is eligible for eBay). The update is processed via a background job and may be subject to eBay API rate limits and timeouts.
  - `items` object[]: Array of price updates. Should not be used with 'sku', 'price', or 'salePrice'. Maximum of 15 items allowed.
    - `sku` string: The SKU code for the product or product variation.
    - `price` number, float: The base price of the product.
    - `salePrice` number, float: The sale price of the product.

## Response `200`

Prices updated successfully.

- PriceUpdateResponse[]
  - `sku` string: The SKU code for the product or product variation.
  - `updated` boolean: Indicates whether the price was updated. If false, the price was unchanged.
  - `productId` integer: The ID of the product associated with the SKU. Present only if 'updated' is true.
  - `variation` boolean: Indicates whether the SKU corresponds to a variation. Present only if 'updated' is true.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request data.
- `401`: Unauthorized. Invalid or missing API key.
- `500`: Server error.
