# Update a product customisation field

`PUT /products/{product_id}/customization-fields/{id}`

Updates an existing product customisation field.

## Path parameters

- `product_id` integer, required
- `id` integer, required

## Request body

- ProductCustomizationFieldUpdate
  - `label` string: The updated field label.
  - `type` 1 | 2: The updated type of the customisation field.
  - `max_length` integer: The updated maximum allowed length for the customisation field. Defaults to 0 (no limit).

## Response `200`

Product customisation field updated successfully.

  - `id` integer: Unique identifier for the customisation field.
  - `label` string: The label of the customisation field.
  - `type` 1 | 2: The type of the customisation field (1 for text input, 2 for text area).
  - `max_length` integer: The maximum allowed length for the customisation field. Defaults to 0 (no limit).
