# Create a new business nexus item

`POST /nexuses`

## Request

Creates a new business nexus item.

## Request body

- BusinessNexusCreate
  - `countryId` integer, required: Identifier for the country.
  - `stateId` integer, required: Identifier for the state.
  - `type` string, required: Type of nexus ('physical' or 'economic').
  - `name` string, required: The name of the nexus.
  - `addressLine1` string, required: Primary address line.
  - `addressLine2` string: Secondary address line.
  - `city` string, required: City of the nexus.
  - `postcode` string, required: Postcode of the nexus.
  - `salesTaxId` string: Sales tax identification number.

## Response `201`

Business nexus item created successfully.

  - `id` integer: Unique identifier for the business nexus item.
  - `countryId` integer: Identifier for the country.
  - `stateId` integer: Identifier for the state.
