# List Thermostat Alerts

`GET /thermostats/{thermostatId}/alerts`

## Request

Returns a list of all unacknowledged alerts on a thermostat

    - `id` string: The unique identifier for a thermostat. The ID will match the serial number on the physical thermostat.
    - `items` Alert[]
      - `acknowledgeRef` string: The unique alert identifier, required to acknowledge an alert
      - `alertNumber` integer: The ecobee alert message identifier
      - `alertType` 'alert' | 'demandResponse' | 'emergency' | 'message' | 'pricing': The type of alert this is: alert, demandResponse, emergency, message, pricing
      - `notificationType` 'alert' | 'hvac' | 'furnaceFilter' | 'humidifierFilter' | 'dehumidifierFilter' | 'ventilator' | 'ac' | 'airFilter' | 'airCleaner' | 'uvLamp' | 'temp' | 'lowTemp' | 'highTemp' | 'lowHumidity' | 'highHumidity' | 'auxHeat' | 'auxOutdoor': The type of alert or reminder: alert, hvac, furnaceFilter, humidifierFilter, dehumidifierFilter, ventilator, ac, airFilter, airCleaner, uvLamp, temp, lowTemp, highTemp, lowHumidity, highHumidity, auxHeat, auxOutdoor
      - `reminder` string, date: Reminder date
      - `severity` 'low' | 'medium' | 'high': The alert severity: low, medium, high
      - `text` string: The alert message text, truncated to 500 characters
      - `time` string, date-time: The alert time and date
