# Update Thermostat Alert Settings

`PATCH /thermostats/{thermostatId}/alertSettings`

Updates alert and reminder settings on the thermostat.

## Request body

  - `lowTemperatureAlert` object: High and low temperature alert values must be separated by the heatCoolMinDelta found in the thermostat status

  - `highTemperatureAlert` object: High and low temperature alert values must be separated by the heatCoolMinDelta found in the thermostat status

  - `lowHumidityAlert` object: High and low humidity alert values must be separated by 5%
