# Find the nearest enabled destination to a coordinate.

`GET /destinations/nearest`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ecoaloha.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://ecoaloha.com/api/v1/destinations/nearest`
- Auth: none required

HTTP only; this operation is not exposed through MCP. Returns the nearest enabled gateway with no distance limit. Check distanceKm before suggesting it. Preserve an explicit destination choice. The website limits nearby suggestions to 200 km; this API does not.

## Query parameters

- `lat` number, required: Latitude in decimal degrees.
- `lng` number, required: Longitude in decimal degrees.

## Response `200`

Nearest destination.

    - `distanceKm` integer, required: Great-circle distance from the point to the city centre, rounded to km. No maximum distance is applied.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid input.
- `404`: Not found.
- `429`: Rate limited.
- `503`: Partner access is not enabled. The error includes a docs URL.
