# Create an organisation.

`PUT /organisation`

## Request body

- CreateOrganisationRequest — The data used to create a new organisation.
  - `shortName` string, required — The organisation's short name.
  - `fullName` string, required — The organisation's full name.
  - `apiKey` string — The API key to set for the organisation. If this key is already assigned, a new one will be generated.

## Response `200`

Organisation created.

- ApiKeyResponse — The API key that was assigned to the creation of a new element.
  - `apiKey` string, required — The API key value.

## Other responses

- `429` — Call rate limit threshold exceeded for this operation.
- `default` — The received request was invalid.
