# Get Insights

`GET /api/partners/insights`

## Request

Generate AI insights about the couple's combined finances using Haiku.

Cached per user for 24 hours. The inputs are a 30-day spending window and
the recurring-payment set, neither of which moves meaningfully within a
day, so regenerating more often spends a model call to produce the same
four sentences. Every other AI surface in the app already caches this way
(weekly_briefing, deep_analysis, recurring_summary); this one did not, and
fired a Haiku call on every mount of the partner screen.

Invalidated by create/settle split and by ending the partnership.
