# Has Connections

`GET /api/openbanking/has-connections/{user_id}`

Check if a user has any active bank connections.

Includes provider="demo" (seeded review/beta accounts): a demo
connection has real transactions and a balance, so surfaces keyed on
has_connections — the Getting Started checklist, home hero, sync
hints — must treat it as connected. Sync paths are unaffected: they
filter provider="finexer" themselves.
