# POST /applications

`POST /applications`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cxxx.eagleeyenetworks.com/api/v3.0`
- URL: `https://api.cxxx.eagleeyenetworks.com/api/v3.0/applications`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

This endpoint allows you to create a new application under the requesting user's account. A maximum of 100 applications can be created under the account.

## Request body

  - `name` string, required: Name of the application.
  - `displayName` string: Display name of the application.
  - `website` string, uri: URL to the website of this application.
  - `developer` string: Name of the developer/company which developed this application.
  - `privacyPolicy` string, uri: URL to the privacy policy of this application.
  - `termsOfService` string, uri: URL to the terms of service of this application.
  - `description` string, required: The description of the application.
  - `isPublic` boolean, required: Whether this application is intended to be public (available for other parties through an application store).
  - `logo` string, uri: URL to the logo of the application.
  - `technicalContact` ApplicationTechContact, required: Request body for application update.
    - `name` string: First name of point of contact for this application.
    - `lastName` string: Last name of the person to contact for this application.
    - `email` string, email: Email id of the person to contact for this application.
    - `phone` string: Phone number of the person to contact for this application.

Application Created

- ApiApplication: This object denotes a single Application.
  - `id` string, required: Unique identifier for application
  - `technicalContact` ApplicationTechContact, required: Request body for application update.
    - `name` string: First name of point of contact for this application.
    - `lastName` string: Last name of the person to contact for this application.
    - `email` string, email: Email id of the person to contact for this application.
    - `phone` string: Phone number of the person to contact for this application.
  - `name` string, required: Name of the application.
  - `displayName` string: Display name of the application.
  - `website` string, uri: URL to the website of this application.
  - `developer` string: Name of the developer/company which developed this application.

## Other responses

- `400`: The supplied object is invalid. Error detail will contain the validation error.
- `401`: You are not authenticated. Please authenticate and try again.
- `403`: You have no permission to access the specified resource.
- `500`: Something went wrong in the server. Please try again.
