# GET /eventTypes

`GET /eventTypes`

## Request

Fetches all the event types that are currently supported.

## Query parameters

- `pageToken` string
- `pageSize` integer
- `language` string: IETF language tag used as main identifier of the language in the Eagle Eye Networks API. The format can be just the two character "primary language subtag" or a combination of the two character "primary language subtag" and 2 character "region subtag". Use `/api/v3.0/languages` API to retrieve supported language codes.

## Response `200`

Success, lists field values as populated in the events.

- ApiPaginatedEventTypesResponse: Used to wrap results for a paginated response, containing information on how to retrieve further pages.
  - `nextPageToken` string, nullable, required: Token to retrieve the next page. The value of this token is passed into the field pageToken. This value can be null if there is no next page.
  - `prevPageToken` string, nullable, required: Token to retrieve the previous page. The value of this token is passed into the field pageToken. This value can be null of there is no previous page.
  - `results` object[], required: The result set from a collection API call.
    - `type` string: Unique identifier for the specific event type.
    - `name` string: Short text to display to users to identify the event type. Currently only returned in English.
    - `description` string: Short description of what the event represents. Currently only returned in English.
  - `totalSize` integer, required: Size of the total result set.

## Other responses

- `400`: The supplied object is invalid. Error detail will contain the validation error.
- `401`: You are not authenticated. Please authenticate and try again.
- `403`: You have no permission to access the specified resource.
- `500`: Something went wrong in the server. Please try again.
