# Get a sandbox's team and state

`GET /admin/sandboxes/{sandboxID}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.e2b.app`
- URL: `https://api.e2b.app/admin/sandboxes/{sandboxID}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-Admin-Token`
  - HTTP bearer

Reads the team and state of a sandbox from its latest lifecycle event.
The state lags the sandbox while that event is in flight. A sandbox
whose events have expired is not found.

## Path parameters

- `sandboxID` string, required

## Response `200`

The sandbox, its team and its state

- AdminSandbox
  - `sandboxID` string, required: Identifier of the sandbox
  - `teamID` string, uuid, required: Identifier of the team that owns the sandbox
  - `state` 'running' | 'paused' | 'killed', required: State after the sandbox's latest create, resume, pause or kill event

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Authentication error
- `404`: Not found
- `429`: Too many requests
- `500`: Server error
