# Fetch a participant's detail

`GET /meetings/{meeting_id}/participants/{participant_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dyte.io/v2`
- URL: `https://api.dyte.io/v2/meetings/{meeting_id}/participants/{participant_id}`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Returns a participant details for the given meeting and participant ID.

- `meeting_id` string, uuid, required
- `participant_id` string, required

  - `data` object, required: Represents a participant.
    - `id` string, uuid, required: ID of the participant.
    - `name` string, nullable: Name of the participant.
    - `picture` string, uri, nullable: URL to a picture of the participant.
    - `custom_participant_id` string, required: A unique participant ID generated by the client.
    - `preset_name` string, required: Preset applied to the participant.
    - `created_at` string, date-time, required: When this object was created. The time is returned in ISO format.
    - `updated_at` string, date-time, required: When this object was updated. The time is returned in ISO format.
