# Create a paid promotion for a published post.

`POST /v1/posts/{postId}/boost`

## Request

Paid promotion; requires ads:boost (or legacy ads:write). Honors the Idempotency-Key header: 409 while the first attempt runs, replay within the completion window returns the original response.
