# Rename a workspace

`PUT /workspaces/{workspaceId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dynapictures.com`
- URL: `https://api.dynapictures.com/workspaces/{workspaceId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Changes the name of a workspace. Account admins only.

## Path parameters

- `workspaceId` string, required

## Request body

- WorkspaceWrite
  - `name` string, required: The name of the workspace.

## Response `200`

The updated workspace.

- Workspace
  - `id` string, required: The ID of the workspace.
  - `name` string, required: The name of the workspace.
  - `dateCreated` string, date-time: When the workspace was created.
  - `dateUpdated` string, date-time: When the workspace was last changed.
  - `memberRole` string: The caller's role in this workspace.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is invalid. `message` says why.
- `401`: The API key is missing or wrong.
- `403`: The plan limit is reached, the trial has expired, or the key has no access to this resource.
- `404`: The resource does not exist, or the key has no access to it.
