# Create and save a query on Dune

`POST /v1/query`

This API allows for anyone to create a query.
The owner of the query will be under the context of the API key.

## Query parameters

- `api_key` string

## Headers

- `X-Dune-Api-Key` string, required

## Response `200`

OK

- ModelsCreateQueryResponse
  - `query_id` integer — The Unique ID of the created query

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `402` — Payment Required
- `403` — Forbidden
- `500` — Internal Server Error
