# Update custom template

`POST /api/sites/multiscreen/templates/{template_id_or_alias}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.duda.co`
- URL: `https://api.duda.co/api/sites/multiscreen/templates/{template_id_or_alias}`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Updates the name of a custom template. Duda templates can't be changed: the request returns an Access is Forbidden error.

## Path parameters

- `template_id_or_alias` string, required

## Request body

- UpdateCustomTemplateRDT
  - `new_name` string

## Response `204`

No Content

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `402`: Payment Required
- `405`: Method Not Allowed
- `429`: Too many requests. The rate limit was exceeded.
- `500`: Internal Server Error
