# Refresh collection data by external ID

`POST /api/sites/multiscreen/collections/revalidate/{external_id}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP basic

Invalidates the data for every collection configured with the given external id.

## Path parameters

- `external_id` string, required

## Response `200`

OK

- `400`: Bad request. The request is malformed or failed validation.
- `401`: Unauthorized. The credentials are missing or invalid.
- `429`: Too many requests. The rate limit was exceeded.
