# Update simple editor settings

`PATCH /api/sites/multiscreen/{site_name}/simple-editor`

Update the simple editor settings of a site.

## Path parameters

- `site_name` string, required

## Request body

- SimpleEditorSettings
  - `onboarding_required` 'REQUIRED' | 'OPTIONAL', required: Whether users must complete the onboarding wizard before using the editor. `REQUIRED`: any attempt to open the editor redirects to the onboarding wizard until it's complete. `OPTIONAL`: once a user has accessed the site, they can open the editor whether or not onboarding is complete.
