# Retranslate popup

`POST /api/sites/multiscreen/{site_name}/popups/{popup_uuid}/retranslate`

## Request

Overrides the content and design of a translated popup with the site default-language popup it was translated from, then re-applies translation. The popup keeps its uuid.

  - `lang` string: Locale code of the popup's language. Present only on multilingual sites (response only).
  - `name` string, required: Popup display name
  - `path` string: Path of the popup page (response only)
  - `styles` PopupStyleRDT: Popup appearance; Editor 2.0 sites only (absent on reads for classic-editor sites) and settable only on update — a create request providing styles is rejected. Omitting styles on update leaves the popup's current appearance unchanged; providing a styles object fully replaces all managed style properties, clearing any that are omitted. Breakpoint overrides live under styles.breakpoint_overrides, with separate tablet and mobile props.

## Other responses
