# Create external shipping provider

`POST /api/sites/multiscreen/{site_name}/ecommerce/shipping-providers`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.duda.co`
- URL: `https://api.duda.co/api/sites/multiscreen/{site_name}/ecommerce/shipping-providers`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Creates an external shipping provider from a live shipping-rates URL and an optional test shipping-rates URL, the endpoints Duda's ecommerce service contacts to retrieve available shipping rates for a cart. Returns the created provider.

- `site_name` string, required

- CreateExternalShippingProviderInputDto
  - `live_shipping_rates_url` string, required
  - `test_shipping_rates_url` string, nullable

## Response `201`

Created

- ExternalShippingProviderOutputDto
  - `id` string: System identifier of the external shipping providers
  - `live_shipping_rates_url` string, uri: Url that duda eCommerce's service will contact to retrieve the available shipping rates for a cart in live mode
  - `test_shipping_rates_url` string, uri: Url that duda eCommerce's service will contact to retrieve the available shipping rates for a cart in test mode

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not Found
- `422`: Unprocessable Content
- `429`: Too many requests. The rate limit was exceeded.
