# Query collection data

`POST /api/sites/multiscreen/{site_name}/collection/{collection_name}/query-data`

## Request

Queries the collection's data, with optional field projection, filtering, search, sorting, and pagination.

## Path parameters

- `site_name` string, required
- `collection_name` string, required

## Request body

- PublicDataQueryRDT: Query parameters for filtering and paginating collection data
  - `fields` string[]: List of specific fields (projection) to return in the response. If not provided or left empty, all fields are returned.
  - `filters` PublicFilterQueryRDT[]: List of filters to apply to the collection data
    - `field` string, required: Field name to apply the filter on
    - `operator` 'EQ' | 'IN' | 'NE' | 'NIN' | 'GT' | 'GTE' | 'LT' | 'LTE' | 'BTWN', required: Filter operation to perform
    - `value` object, required: Value to filter by

Must be provided if the collection is multilingual.
  - `page` PublicPageQueryRDT: Pagination parameters for collection data queries
    - `pageNumber` integer: Page number (zero-based)
    - `pageSize` integer: Number of items per page (min: 1, max: 200, default: 50)
  - `search` string: Text search term to filter collection data
  - `sort` PublicSortQueryRDT[]: List of fields to sort the results by
    - `direction` 'ASC' | 'DESC', required: Sort direction options
    - `field` string, required: Field name to sort by
  - `statuses` PublicRowStatus[]: Statuses of the rows to return. If not provided or left empty, rows of every status are returned.

    - `status` 'ACTIVE' | 'PREVIEW' | 'DRAFT': Where the row shows up. Supported values: - ACTIVE - on the published site and in the editor - PREVIEW - in the editor only - DRAFT - on neither, the row is kept in the collection table only A row created without a status is ACTIVE; an update or patch without one keeps the row's status.
  - `site_name` string: Owning site
  - `total_responses` integer: Total amount of elements matching requested filters

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request. The request is malformed or failed validation.
- `401`: Unauthorized. The credentials are missing or invalid.
- `429`: Too many requests. The rate limit was exceeded.
