# Publish collection

`POST /api/sites/multiscreen/{site_name}/collection/{collection_name}/publish`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.duda.co`
- URL: `https://api.duda.co/api/sites/multiscreen/{site_name}/collection/{collection_name}/publish`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Applies changes made to the collection in the editor to the published site. For internal or image collections, publishes collection data and cleans site cache. For external collections only publishes the collection itself (e.g. fields and endpoint configuration), and data will be synchronized with the external source according to updated settings.

- `site_name` string, required
- `collection_name` string, required

## Response `204`

No Content

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request. The request is malformed or failed validation.
- `401`: Unauthorized. The credentials are missing or invalid.
- `429`: Too many requests. The rate limit was exceeded.
