# Import blog post

`POST /api/sites/multiscreen/{site_name}/blog/posts/import`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP basic

Imports a single post into a site's existing blog. The post is added as a draft and needs to be published before it appears on the live site.

  - `layout_id` string: Id of the layout to place the post on, from the blog's layouts. Omitted: the blog's default layout.

    - `alt_text` string
    - `url` string
  - `title` string

- `401`: Unauthorized
