# Import RSS Feed

`POST /api/sites/multiscreen/{site_name}/blog/import`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.duda.co`
- URL: `https://api.duda.co/api/sites/multiscreen/{site_name}/blog/import`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Imports posts from an external RSS feed into a site's blog. The posts are added as drafts and need to be published before they appear on the live site.

## Path parameters

- `site_name` string, required

## Request body

- ImportBlogRssRDT
  - `feed_url` string
  - `import_type` 'APPEND' | 'OVERWRITE'
  - `layout_id` string: Id of the layout to place every imported post on, from the blog's layouts. Omitted: the blog's default layout.

## Response `200`

OK

- ImportBlogRssResponseRDT
  - `feed_url` string
  - `import_type` 'APPEND' | 'OVERWRITE'
  - `layout_id` string: Id of the layout the imported posts were placed on. Omitted when no layout_id was given.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `402`: Payment Required
- `405`: Method Not Allowed
- `429`: Too many requests. The rate limit was exceeded.
- `500`: Internal Server Error
