# Create account

`POST /api/accounts/create`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.duda.co`
- URL: `https://api.duda.co/api/accounts/create`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Creates a new customer or staff account. Duda doesn't email the account holder when you create or update an account.

## Request body

- CreateOrUpdateAccount: Create or Update account resource
  - `account_name` string, required: Account name identifier
  - `account_type` 'STAFF' | 'CUSTOMER'
  - `company_name` string
  - `email` string
  - `first_name` string, required: Account first name
  - `lang` string
  - `last_name` string, required: Account last name
  - `standing` 'ACTIVE' | 'SUSPENDED': Customer access status
  - `status` 'OK' | 'SUSPENDED'

## Response `204`

No Content

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `402`: Payment Required
- `405`: Method Not Allowed
- `429`: Too many requests. The rate limit was exceeded.
- `500`: Internal Server Error
