# Retrieve welcome link

`POST /api/accounts/{account_name}/welcome`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.duda.co`
- URL: `https://api.duda.co/api/accounts/{account_name}/welcome`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Generates a welcome link that takes the account holder to set their password. The link is valid for 30 days.

## Path parameters

- `account_name` string, required

## Response `200`

Welcome link

- WelcomeLinkRDT
  - `expiration` integer
  - `welcome_url` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `402`: Payment Required
- `405`: Method Not Allowed
- `429`: Too many requests. The rate limit was exceeded.
- `500`: Internal Server Error
