# Start a new tenant session

`POST /tenant/session`

## Request

- URL: `https://api.drymerge.com/tenant/session`

Creates a new tenant session and returns a session key.

## Request body

- StartTenantSessionEndpointApiArgs
  - `public_key` string: Your organization's public key.
  - `tenant_id` string, required: The unique identifier of the tenant.
  - `tenant_metadata` Metadata: Arbitrary metadata about the tenant as a key-value store, where each value can be of any type.

## Response `200`

Successful response

- StartTenantSessionEndpointApiResponse
  - `session_key` string: The session key for the new tenant session.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `500`: Internal server error
