# List Legal Hold policies - v4

`GET /legalholds/v4/policies`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://apis.druva.com/insync`
- URL: `https://apis.druva.com/insync/legalholds/v4/policies`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Returns a list of all the Legal Hold policies that are configured in Druva inSync.

## Query parameters

- `sortBy` 'createdOn' | 'name'
- `sortOrder` 'asc' | 'desc'
- `custodians` string
- `legalHoldTypes` 'Human Resources' | 'Information Security' | 'Legal'
- `legalHoldTypeIds` string

      - `startDate` string, mmm DD YYYY: Start time if webdav access type selected is Data within a Date Range. Example- Apr 11 2021
      - `endDate` string, mmm DD YYYY: End time if webdav access type selected is Data within a Date Range. Example- Jun 12 2021
      - `webDavAccessType` 'All Collected Data' | 'Last Collected Data' | 'Data within a Data Range': Type of webdav access. Example- 'All Collected Data' OR 'Last Collected Data' OR 'Data within a Date Range'
      - `isADCEnabled` boolean: Flag to indicate if Additional Data Collection is enabled. Example - true/false.
      - `createdOn` string: Date and Time when Legal Hold Policy was created. Example- 'Jul 01 2021, 08:54'
      - `legalHoldType` string: Type of Legal Hold Policy. Example- Human Resources
      - `policyId` integer: Unique ID of the Legal Hold policy. Example - 20
      - `createdBy` string: Name of admin creating Legal Hold Policy. Example - Ernie Carter
      - `numberOfCustodians` integer: Count of Custodians in the Legal Hold Policy. Example - 7
      - `legalHoldTypeId` integer: Unique ID of the legal hold type. Example - 132
      - `deletedFilesOnly` true | false: Use true if you want to access only deleted files. Otherwise, use false.
      - `name` string: Name of the Legal Hold policy. Example - Jan_2021

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Access denied: Insufficient permissions. User requires specific access rights and minimum permissions. Details: https://help.druva.com/en/articles/15069296
- `404`: Not found
- `422`: Unprocessable Entity
- `500`: Internal Server Error
