# Initiate custodian data download - v4

`POST /legalholds/v4/job`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://apis.druva.com/insync`
- URL: `https://apis.druva.com/insync/legalholds/v4/job`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Download custodian data from inSync using the eDiscovery Download Client.

## Request body

- CreateDownloadJobRequest
  - `clientName` string, required: Name of the eDiscovery Download Client. Example - Client1
  - `downloadOption` 0 | 1 | 2, required: 0 indicates only metadata, 1 indicates data and metadata and 2 indicates zip download option.
  - `legalholdId` integer, required: Legal Hold ID for which download is to be triggered. Example -10
  - `downloadLocation` string, required: Location to download the job. Example - D:\Downloads
  - `createdBy` string, required: Name of administrator triggering the job. Example - Ernie Carter
  - `custodianEmails` string[], required
  - `enable_data_integrity` true | false, required: Use 'true' to enable data integrity and 'false' to disable data integrity.

OK

  - `message` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Access denied: Insufficient permissions. User requires specific access rights and minimum permissions. Details: https://help.druva.com/en/articles/15069296
