# Cancel a job

`POST /sqlserver/v2/orgs/{orgID}/jobs/cancel`

## Request

- Base URL: `//apis.druva.com/phoenix` (relative, and the document’s source URL is not known)
- URL: `//apis.druva.com/phoenix/sqlserver/v2/orgs/{orgID}/jobs/cancel`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Cancels the specified job.

## Path parameters

- `orgID` integer, required

## Request body

- SQLCancellationParams: SQLCancellationParams is job cancellation request inputs
  - `jobID` integer: Specify the ID of the job that you want to cancel. Get the ID of the job using the 'List all jobs' API.

## Response `200`

Success

- SQLCancelJobResponse: SQLCancelJobResponse is response to cancel job API
  - `jobID` integer: A unique identification number associated with the job.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: The request did not include an authentication token or the authentication token was expired.
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: The requested resource was not found.
- `500`: The request was not processed due to an internal error in Cloud.
