# Cancel a job

`POST /fileserver/v2/orgs/{orgID}/jobs/cancel`

## Request

- Base URL: `//apis.druva.com/phoenix` (relative, and the document’s source URL is not known)
- URL: `//apis.druva.com/phoenix/fileserver/v2/orgs/{orgID}/jobs/cancel`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Cancels the specified job.

## Path parameters

- `orgID` integer, required

## Request body

- FSCancelJobParams: FSCancelJobParams Request parameters for cancel job
  - `jobID` integer, required: Specify the ID of the job that you want to cancel. Get the ID of the job using the 'List all jobs' API.

## Response `200`

Result schema with response set to JobID cancelled

- FSCancelJobResponse: FSCancelJobResponse is response to cancel job request
  - `jobID` integer: The unique identification number associated with the job. The job ID is:<br />0: If the job is not successfully canceled.<br /><job_id>: If the job was successfully canceled.<br /><error_msg>: If the job is already completed, completed with errors, was canceled, or failed before it could be canceled.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: The request did not include an authentication token or the authentication token was expired.
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: The requested resource was not found.
- `500`: The request was not processed due to an internal error in Cloud.
