# Delete a threat hunt

`DELETE /threathunting/v1/threathunts/{threatHuntID}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://apis.druva.com/realize`
- URL: `https://apis.druva.com/realize/threathunting/v1/threathunts/{threatHuntID}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Allows you to delete an existing non-running threat hunt job. Threat hunt, once deleted, cannot be recovered.

## Path parameters

- `threatHuntID` integer, required

## Request body

- ThreatHuntJobDeleteParams
  - `deleteReason` string: Specfiy the reason why the threat hunt needs to be deleted.

## Response `200`

OK

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: The request either did not include an authentication token, or you have provided an expired authentication token.
- `404`: The requested resource was not found.
- `500`: Internal Server Error
