# Reset a device to a fresh state

`POST /devices/{deviceId}/reset`

Resets the device back to a clean state, clearing installed apps and user data accumulated during the session. The device transitions through its reset lifecycle before becoming ready again.

## Path parameters

- `deviceId` string, required

## Response `204`
