# Delete a proxy

`DELETE /connect/proxies/{id}`

Deletes the proxy identified by the path ID and releases its provisioning. Returns 404 if no such proxy exists for the caller.

## Response `204`

Proxy deleted.

## Other responses

- `401` — The X-User-ID header was missing or invalid, or a present X-Owner-Id header was not a uuid.
- `404` — The resource was not found.
