# Attest Bulk Funding Settlement

`PATCH /settlements/{settlementID}/attest`

## Request

Attests a Bulk Funding Settlement if it is in a successful state and not already attested. Only available if the attestation feature is enabled for the partner.

## Path parameters

- `settlementID` string, required: A unique identifier that identifies the settlement.

Attestation successful

- AttestSettlementResponse
  - `cashBalance` number: Cash balance in the partner's settlement account. Only present if the partner is enabled for automated settlements processing.

  - `cashSettlementAccountNo` string: Account number of the cash settlement account. Only present if the partner is enabled for automated settlements processing.
  - `id` string: A unique identifier that identifies the settlement.
  - `settlementDate` string
  - `status` 'SUCCESSFUL': The status of the attested settlement.
  - `statusComment` string: A custom comment about the current status of the settlement.
  - `amount` object
    - `total` number: The aggregated sum of all the transactions settling on the settlement date.
    - `credits` number: The aggregated sum of all the credit transactions settling on the settlement date.
    - `debits` number: The aggregated sum of all the debit transactions settling on the settlement date.
  - `breakdownReport` string, url: A URL to a JSON file that breaks down all the deposits or withdrawals across sub accounts over the course of the settlement date.
  - `partnerID` string: The partner's unique identifier.
  - `settlementProfileID` string: A settlement profile identifier that links to a specific bank account for fund settlement.
  - `updatedBy` 'SYSTEM REPORT SERVICE' | 'INSTANT FUNDING BREAKDOWN JOB'
  - `createdAt` string
  - `updatedAt` string
  - `attestedBy` string: User ID of the person who attested the settlement report.
  - `attestedAt` string: The date and time when the settlement report was attested.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request (already attested, not allowed, or other error)
- `404`: Bulk Funding Settlement not found or not accessible
