# Retrieve contribution limits

`GET /contribution-limits`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://bo-api.drivewealth.io/back-office`
- URL: `https://bo-api.drivewealth.io/back-office/contribution-limits`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Retrieves standard contribution limits and age-based catch-up parameters for Traditional IRAs, Roth IRAs, and Trump Accounts for a given tax year.

Traditional and Roth IRAs share one combined limit: a client holding both has a single allowance across the two, not the full limit in each.

## Query parameters

- `taxYear` integer

## Response `200`

        - `description` string: Plain-language description of the funding source.
