# List Supported Countries

`GET /countries`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://bo-api.drivewealth.io/back-office`
- URL: `https://bo-api.drivewealth.io/back-office/countries`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Retrieves a list of allowed countries for which users can be onboard from.

## Query parameters

- `status` 'ACTIVE' | 'INACTIVE', required

## Response `200`

Retrieving a list of Supported Countries was Successful.

- ListOfAllowedCountry[]: A list of allowed countries.
  - `id` string: The abbreviated identifier of a country.
  - `name` string: The full name of the country
  - `code2` string: An alternative abbreviated identifier of a country.
  - `code3` string: An alternative abbreviated identifier of a country.
  - `active` boolean: True, if a user can be onboarded from this country.
  - `expatsAllowed` boolean: True, if a user who resides outside of their country can be onboarded from the listed country.
  - `foreignTINNotRequired` boolean: True, if a user's tax identifier is NOT required during onboarding.
  - `fpslProhibited` boolean
  - `supportDomicile` boolean
  - `taxTreatyCountry` boolean: True, if the country has a tax treaty with the United States.
