# POST /api/patients_list

`POST /api/patients_list`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.drchrono.com`
- URL: `https://app.drchrono.com/api/patients_list`
- Auth: OAuth 2
  - Authorization code: `https://app.drchrono.com/o/authorize/`
  - Token URL: `https://app.drchrono.com/o/token/` scopes: `patients:read`

Submit patient list request.  Use the UUID returned in the response to retrieve the batch of patients.

## Query parameters

- `order_by` string
- `page_size` integer: Number of results to return per page. Number between 1 and 1000.
- `first_name` string: Filter the list for the patient's first name.
- `last_name` string: Filter the list for the patient's last name.
- `preferred_language` string: Filter the list for the patient's preferred language.
- `gender` string
- `since` string
- `date_of_birth` string
- `race` string
- `chart_id` string
- `email` string
- `ethnicity` string
- `verbose` boolean

## Response `201`

Created

- object
  - `status` string: Status of the request. Possible values are "In progress" or "Complete".
  - `uuid` string: UUID of the batch of patients.
  - `description` string: Contains link to load the batch by UUID

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Permission Denied
- `500`: Internal Server Error
