# Accept a site transfer into a workspace

`POST /api/v1/transfers/{token}/accept`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dotsy.ai`
- URL: `https://api.dotsy.ai/api/v1/transfers/{token}/accept`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Moves the site into the chosen workspace. It needs a signed-in user (a dashboard session or an OAuth token), not a `pga_` key. Their verified email must match the address the offer was made to, and they must be an Owner or Admin of the destination workspace. A free site can't move into a workspace that is already at its free-site cap.

- AcceptTransferRequest
  - `destinationWorkspaceId` string, required: The workspace that should receive the site. You must be its Owner or Admin. Take the id from `getAccountMe` (`memberships`).

## Response `200`

The site moved.

  - `ok` true, required
  - `siteSlug` string, required
  - `toWorkspaceId` string, required: The workspace that now owns the site.

## Other responses

- `400`: `invalid_body`: send `{ destinationWorkspaceId }`.
- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `403`: `session_required`: sign in as a person, since an API key can't accept. `transfer_email_mismatch`: the signed-in email is not the one the offer was made to. `email_not_verified`: verify your email first. `not_destination_admin`: you must be an Owner or Admin of the destination workspace. `free_site_limit`: the destination is at its free-site cap.
- `404`: `transfer_not_found`: the token matches no offer. `site_not_found`: the site no longer exists.
- `409`: `transfer_cancelled`, `transfer_already_accepted`, or `slug_conflict`: the destination already has a site with this slug. Rename or remove that site and try again.
- `410`: `transfer_expired`: ask the owner for a new offer.
