# List the site's shared sections

`GET /api/v1/sites/{slug}/shared-sections`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dotsy.ai`
- URL: `https://api.dotsy.ai/api/v1/sites/{slug}/shared-sections`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Each shared section with where it shows and how many pages use it, by name. Built from the site's outline — no page is read.

- `cursor` string

## Response `200`

One page of sections.

- SharedSectionList
  - `sections` SharedSectionRow[], required
    - `name` string, required
    - `key` string, required
    - `showsOn` 'every_page' | 'pages', required: `every_page` when a layout places it.
    - `layouts` string[], required: Layouts that place it.
    - `pageCount` integer, required: Pages that show it (pages that hide it are not counted).
    - `hiddenCount` integer, required
    - `exists` boolean, required: False when pages reference a section file that is missing.
    - `hasChanges` boolean, required: The section file has a staged change.
    - `updatedAt` integer, nullable, required: Last write, Unix ms. Null when the store can't tell without extra reads.
  - `nextCursor` string, nullable, required
  - `indexing` object, required
    - `pending` integer, required: Pages whose structure is not indexed yet.
    - `running` boolean, required
  - `partial` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `400`: A query value or `cursor` is not valid.
- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `404`: No such site.
