# Rename the workspace

`PATCH /api/v1/account/workspace`

## Request

Renames the active workspace. Only a workspace Owner or Admin can.

## Request body

- UpdateWorkspaceRequest
  - `name` string, required: The new workspace name, 1 to 120 characters.

## Response `200`

The workspace was renamed.

  - `name` string, required: The saved name, trimmed.

## Other responses

- `400`: `invalid_body`: send a name of 1 to 120 characters.
- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `403`: `workspace_admin_required`: only a workspace Owner or Admin can rename the workspace.
